Armed Forces and Veterans Day Parade - Saturday 20 June 2009
The Armed Forces Day was celebrated in the City of Stirling on Saturday 20 June 2009 with a Veterans Parade and a Military Show in the Kings Park. Pictures from the event can be found in our photograph section.
Parade Route - Kings Street through Port Street up Park Terrace to Kings Park.

- Assemble in Kings Street (11.30hrs)
- Parade to form up (11.45hrs)
- Parade Step Off (12.00hrs)
- Arrive at Kings Park (12.20hrs)
- Reform
- Arena Parade March on (12.30hrs)
- Salute and inspection
- March Off from the Arena (13.00hrs)
There were displays in the arena of Police Dogs, Unarmed Combat, Highland Dancing, Military Demonstrations, Falconry, Musical Interlude, Final of the Tug of War and the Golden Lions Parachute Display.
The Beating of Retreat by the Massed Bands of the Royal Regiment of Scotland took place at 16.00 to 16.30 hrs.
