The Battle of Manassas Service on July 19th. 2008 was cancelled due to a heavy downpour of rain. With the Cemetery being built on a slope, our Parade Marshall, Mr. David Ritchie took the decision to cancel the service.  Our guest re-enactor in the persona of Captain William Willcox of the 95th New York Volunteers (Union Army) was asked to lay the wreath at the foot of the monument erected to the memory of all Scottish-Americans.
