On Sunday 4th July 2010, Ayr Racecourse will be offering FREE admission to all current serving members of the Armed Forces and their families, including members of all Veterans Associations and Veterans Charities.
Each member will be entitled to claim a FREE Grandstand Family Ticket, which will allow access for 2 Adults and up to 3 children under 16.
Along with a superb seven flat racing card, there will also be FREE entertainment for the children, with a ‘Beach’ theme . . . Fairground Rides, Pony Rides, Punch and Judy, Face Painting, and more . . . and kids dust the sand off your flipflops and sunhat and dress to impress in the “Craziest Beachwear Competition”
Tickets must be booked in advance (before 30 June 2010), and are obtainable by the following methods:
Serving Forces
via Tickets for Troops – book online at www.ticketsfortroops.co.uk (£1 donation requested on booking); or
direct from Ayr Racecourse – telephone 01292 264179 and request a ‘Forces Family Ticket’
Tickets will be collected from the Racecourse on the day – a form of Military ID will be required
Veterans
via your Veterans Association/Charity; or
members of the Royal British Legion can also book direct with Ayr Racecourse on 01292 264179 (membership card will be required for collection of tickets on the day)
For those booking tickets direct from the Racecourse or their Veterans Association, a donation of £1 (total) will be requested on collection of the tickets, in support of Poppyscotland
